Weekend away in Bath

After looking around on Airbnb for a place to stay for our trip to Bath, we found a lovely little cabin at the bottom of a family’s giant garden. The cabin was in a little village called Batheaston, just outside of Bath. The scenery was beautiful and the view from the local pub was very pretty.

On Tom’s Birthday, we started the day very slow. Our Airbnb host had made us home-made bread which tasted lovely and then Tom opened his birthday cards and presents before we had a chilled boat ride into Bath for the day. The weather was a little drab and it did rain quite heavily at one point, so we dashed into The Stable for Pizza and Cider to dry off.

After spending the day in Bath, we arrived back at our cabin a little worn out and remembered there was a projector for a home cinema! After getting used to watching films on a 13inch mac – it was great to watch a film on an extra large screen! So the rest of the evening was spent relaxing, eating and watching a film – perfect!
